Crash Bots Controls & Console

Crash Bots is a garage-and-arena Roblox experience, so “controls” means more than fight buttons. You need clean navigation for the lobby Shop, crate opens, driver summons, build editing, trading, and matchmaking — on PC, mobile, and console. Stouts Studio shipped a dedicated console-support pass, which is why controller players now show up in the same queues as mouse and touch users.

Cross-play means your bot fights the same physics rules everywhere. Platform only changes how quickly you manage the garage between fights.

Coding console support in Crash Bots

Lobby essentials (all platforms)

Learn these destinations on day one:

1. Garage / build screen — equip parts, check empty slots.
2. Shop — crates, currencies, and the Enter Code Here field.
3. Drivers / summon — spend Gems on pilots that match your weapon.
4. Battle / clash — live PvP queues.
5. Offline battles — farm when queues are empty (Offline Battles).
6. Trading — swap duplicates after the trading update (Trading).
7. Clan / social — optional group progress (Clans).

If you cannot find Shop within thirty seconds, you are not ready to spend Shards.

How to redeem codes by platform

Codes are case-sensitive. Prefer copy-paste whenever the platform allows it.

PC

1. Open the codes checker in a browser tab.
2. Launch Crash Bots and open Shop on the left.
3. Paste into Enter Code Here and redeem.
4. Confirm Gems / Scraps / Shards updated.

Mobile

1. Keep the codes hub open in a mobile browser.
2. Long-press to copy each code.
3. Switch to Roblox, open Shop, paste carefully.
4. Watch for autocorrect changing tradinTime or grapplinTime.

Console

1. Open the codes list on a phone beside you, or use Roblox companion paste features where available.
2. Enter codes slowly — camelCase mistakes are the number one console redeem failure.
3. After each redeem, check currency totals before typing the next string.

Garage controls mindset

Whether you click, tap, or use a stick:

• Equip changes before you queue.
• Never leave a slot empty “for later” (Beginner Mistakes).
• After any part swap, run offline fights before live ranked climbs.
• If a controller focus highlight skips a button, back out one menu and re-enter — console UI bugs are usually navigation, not lost items.

Console-specific tips

• Text entry: create a short note on your phone with active codes so you are not memorizing KABOOM vs du3l mid-match.
• Trading: confirm the exact item icons in the trade window. Controllers make mis-highlights easier — see Trading.
• Sessions: console players often play longer couch sessions. Cap crate opens per session so fatigue does not burn Shards.
• Passes: read Game Passes on a second screen before buying with Robux — descriptions are easier to compare on a phone than on a TV UI.

PC keyboard / mouse habits that help

• Keep the wiki guides hub tiled beside Roblox during your first week.
• Paste codes; do not retype them.
• After three losses, rebuild in the garage instead of queue-mashing (How to Win).

Mobile habits that help

• Redeem codes at the start of a session on Wi-Fi — shop menus lag on weak data.
• Zoom accessibility settings if Shop text is hard to read.
• Avoid trading while walking; mis-taps are expensive.

Controllers and combat

Arena fights are largely about the bot build, not twitch aiming like a shooter. Still, knowing how to reopen the garage quickly after a loss matters more than fancy stick flicks. If your platform makes menuing slow, prepare two loadout plans in advance using the builds tier list so you are not inventing a bot under tilt.

Free loot buttons you should not skip

The Roblox page asks you to like the game and join the Stouts Studio group for free loot. Those are not keyboard binds, but they are part of onboarding controls — details on Group Rewards.

After you can navigate cleanly

1. Redeem codes.
2. Fill slots with Scrap crates (Crates).
3. Summon a driver (Drivers).
4. Learn How to Play systems if you skipped them.
5. Climb with rebuild discipline.
